Do I need to sign a waiver?

All participants must sign an electronic waiver. This must be completed online before arrival using your booking reference number. Participants aged 6-17 need to have their waiver signed by a parent or guardian. If you do not complete a waiver before arrival it may delay access to your booked session.

How long before my session should I arrive?

Please arrive 45 minutes before your session. This allows time to check in, collect your equipment and change and complete a safety brief. If you miss the safety brief you will not be able to go onto the waterpark. PLEASE NOTE: It is your responsibility to arrive in good time. You are not eligible for a refund if you miss your session start time.

How old do you need to be to go on the Waterpark?

Minimum age is 6. Kids aged 6-9 need to be accompanied by an adult aged 18+ (three kids to one adult). Ages 10+ do not need an adult.

Do the adults accompanying children on the waterpark have to pay?

Yes, they do. And if you or accompanying children have any questions regarding how to safely enjoy each and individual piece of equipment/apparatus on the WaterPark please do ask the management before starting your session.

What are the age restrictions for The Beast Slide?

Ages 6-9 can use the green slide. Ages 10 plus can use all three slides.

How do I book the other water activities?

SUPs, kayaks, canoes and pedaloes are all rent on demand at reception.

How do I book with a voucher?

Please book all full paying participants online and any participant using a voucher can use the voucher at reception.

How do I book with a e-voucher?

Follow the online booking process and enter the voucher code when prompted.

How much is it to go on the Waterpark?

£24 per person for a one hour session. An additional consecutive hour can be added for £12. Price includes access to The Beast Slide, wetsuit and buoyancy aid hire. One pair of special grip aqua socks will be provided per person. The Lake management reserves the right to refuse admission, ask members of the public to leave the premises at all times.

Cancellation Policy

Strictly no refunds. If more than 24 hours notice is given bookings can be rescheduled or a voucher issued to the value of the booking. Please note that a booking can be rescheduled ONCE free of charge. Any further reschedules will be charged an admin fee of £10. Changes cannot be made within 24 hours. No shows on day will be charged in full. Please EMAIL your booking reference and the date and time you would like to be rescheduled to. Re-booking credit/vouchers must be redeemed the same year of issue and is non-transferable to the following year.

I wear glasses, can I wear these on the Waterpark?

Wearing glasses is not permitted on the waterpark as they can break and cause injury to the wearer. Contact lenses or prescription goggles are our recommended alternative. Swimming goggles are allowed on the park.

Footwear for participants

No footwear permitted on the waterpark as they can damage the inflatables. Special lake aqua socks must be worn and are included in the cost of the waterpark ticket.

Can jewellery be worn?

Jewellery is strictly prohibited except a wedding band. You will be asked to remove any jewellery at check in and again at the jetty before you access the water.

Are there any health requirements?

The waterpark is not suitable for pregnant women. Please notify management if you feel unwell before your session, have had broken bones or dislocations in the past which may effect your ability on the WaterPark. Any person who has asthma, epilepsy , or a heart condition must make this known to staff. Management has the right to refuse entry to the waterpark.

Can I leave the Waterpark mid session?

If you leave the Waterpark mid-session, for safety reasons you will NOT be able to rejoin the session. No refund will be given.

What are you opening hours?

We are open weekends in June, every day in July and August and weekends in September. Opening times are 11am-6pm but may vary. Please use the booking system to check specific date availability.

What happens if it is too windy for the Waterpark to open?

We cannot open during high winds or adverse weather conditions (lightening). If we close the Waterpark due to weather this is to ensure the safety of all customers. Customers with bookings will be offered a reschedule.

Do I need to be able to swim?

As long as you are confident in water and can swim from the jetty over to the waterpark you can participate. Buoyancy aids are provided and must be worn at all times on the WaterPark and jetty area.

What facilities do you have on site?

Male and female toilets and changing areas for all participants. We also have a hot food and confectionary van and a coffee van with traybakes and sandwiches. Picnic tables are available.

Do I need to wear a wetsuit? What can I wear?

Wetsuits are compulsory and included in the price. You can wear your own wetsuit as long as there is only one zip up the back and no buckles or zip anywhere else. Please show us your wetsuit at reception so we can check it is suitable.

What happens if I am stuck in traffic?

We are not responsible for your journey or traffic. We cannot get you onto the park if you miss your briefing session. We will try our best to help you, but we cannot be held responsible for your arrival, please remember there are NO REFUNDS.

How long does a session last?

Each session lasts one hour. Your 10 minute safety brief is part of your one hour Waterpark session.

Lost, Stolen or Damaged items.

The Lake Kilrea is Not Responsible for vehicles or personal property Lost, Stolen or Damaged.

Can I bring my dog to The Lake ?

No, we have a strict No Dog policy onsite at The Lake. Assistance dogs are welcome.
